German women’s
national junior volleyball team posted 3-0 (25-13, 25-5, 25-20) victory over
underdog Lithuania on Thursday, April 12. The Belarusian City Mogilev hosted
the match and German musketeers spent 59 minutes on the centre court to bag
second win of the second round of 2012 CEV Women’s Junior Volleyball
Championship. Both teams were tagged as outsiders, so a meagre number of
spectators came to watch the match. Only 70 people were in presence during the
match.
Carina AULENBROCK was the top scorer of
the match with a total of 17 points. In the next run, German top guns will take
on French counterparts on Friday. German team is tipped to keep its winning
streak on the third day of the competition.
