2012 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship gets underway

The 2012 AVC Women's Club Volleyball Championship got the green light on Saturday, April 21. A total of nine teams from Iran, Vietnam, China, Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Japan, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia jumped on board to contest their games skills. The thrilling tournament is being hosted by Thailand. The MCC Hall in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand is the home of action for nine days. Teams have been divided into two pools, while the preliminary round-robin is in progress. 


The winner of this edition of the AVC Women's Volleyball Championship will earn ticket to the 2012 FIVB World Women's Club Volleyball Championship slated for October.
