The women’s
national junior volleyball team of France bagged first win of the on-going 2012
CEV Women’s Junior Championship on Thursday. France was challenged by Latvia in
the second match of second match of second round of the competition. The
Latvian squad failed to overcome the French rivals and dropped the decision in
straight sets. The set scores were 0-3 (12-25, 18-25, 20-25).
Next up,
France will take on favourite team of the tournament Germany on Friday.
Likewise, Latvia will try luck against host Belarus in the next match on day-3
of the 2012 CEV Women’s Junior Volleyball Championship in Pool A.
