The women’s volleyball club team of Cataño emerged as top team of Puerto Rican Women’s Superior League after winning the final showdown on Sunday. Cataño was challenged by defending champions Caguas in the final match, which lasted for five sets. After a long tiring battle, Cataño managed to overcome the resilient rival and posted 3-2 (25-20, 21-25, 9-25, 25-18, 15-12) victory.
With Victory in the finals of Puerto Rican Women’s Superior League, Cataño qualified for the 2012 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship.
