After
claiming gold at the first SWATCH FIVB Beach Volleyball event of the year 2012,
the outstanding Chinese duo of Chen Xue and Zhang Xi is aiming for another
title win at the Sanya Open.
Last week,
the Chinese team clinched success at Brasilia Open women’s beach volleyball
tournament which had an amazing run from April 15-20 in Brazil. Chinese team
defeated the local hosts Maria Antonelli and Talita Antunes in the final
showdown of the tournament.
In the next
run, Xue and Zhang Xi are shaped up to claw their way to the final victory at
home series. The Sanya Open is being held at Southern Chinese resort Sanya. The
Chinese duo will be equipped with great support of local fans. Furthermore, the
competitive advantage of familiar conditions will also enhance their
performance. Xue and Zhange Xi are determined to give the home audience another
chance of celebration.
