Pool A is
composed of six teams, which includes Latvia, Germany, host Belarus, Lithuania,
France, and Poland. The 2nd round competition took centre stage on
Wednesday, April 11 and it is scheduled to be continued till Sunday, April 15.
The opening day of 2nd round featured a total of three matches,
where Germany, Belarus, and Poland cinched success. The match results are as
followed:
Belarus vs. Lithuania 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-16)
Poland vs. France 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 25-16)
Hence, all
the winners of day-1 claimed success in straight sets. For complete schedule of
