Finland gave a tough time to
Germany in the second match of 2012 European Men’s Olympic Qualifiers on
Wednesday but failed to stop the in-form German squad. Finnish team could only
secure one frame in the four-set match, which was not enough to save them from
loss. Germany pulled off success with three sets to one, 3-1 (31-29, 25-19,
21-25, 25-16).
Germany claimed first win of the
tournament on the opening day when German studs defeated Slovakian
counterparts. In the next run, the team carried the momentum and improved to
2-0 in Pool II by winning against Finland.
