Women's National Volleyball Team of Turkey achieved a big milestone by making it to the 2012 London Olympic Games.
Turkey fought a great battle with Poland in the final match of 2012 CEV European Olympic Qualification Tournament, which took place on Sunday. Turks had the competitive edge of playing at home, which helped them to defeat the visiting squad. The final showdown of the tournament drew some 8,000 fans at the Baskent sports hall in Ankara Turkey. Furthermore the presidents of Turkish and Polish Volleyball Federations also attended the match.
Turkey sent 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-19) on board and clinched success in the match.
