Women’s national volleyball team of Chinese Taipei dropped another
chance to prove its endeavour in the 2012 FIVB World Olympic
Qualification Tournament, which is currently underway in Japan.
Chinese Taipei played its fourth match against Thailand and received 0-3 (16-25, 18-25, 20-25) defeat. The Tokyo Metropolitan Gym hosted the match, while more than 1,000 spectators watched the performance.
Outside hitter (OH) Sittirak Onuma led Thailand with match-high 15 points. Thinkaow Pleumjit followed her up 13 points, while Wilavan Apinyapoing and Malika Kanthong registered 12 and 11 respectively. On the other hand, none of the C.T. players could go into double-figure score. Chen Wan Ting and Teng Yen Min were the top scorers with nine points apiece.
