The runner-up duo of the 2012 Sanya Open women’s beach volleyball
tournament, Juliana Felisberta Silva-Larissa Franca ended up with bronze
medal victory in the next SWATCH FIVB World Tournament.
Juliana-Larissa defeated Dutch duo of Keizer-Van Iersel in straight sets and got hold of the third position at the 2012 Shanghai Grand Slam. The final set scores of the match were 29-27, 21-13.
Brazilian tandem was moved to classification match for third position after they received defeat from China’s Xue-Zhang in the semi-final match. The hot favourite of the competition, Chinese Xue-Zhang held off Juliana-Larissa for 2-0 (21-13, 21-17) victory.
