Czech Republic women’s team ready to rumble at the European League – Volleyball news

The 2012 CEV Women’s European Volleyball League is set to be kicked off on Friday, June 1 with a total of 12 teams.

Women’s national volleyball team from Czech Republic will also be on board to prove its supremacy on the centre court. Czech ladies will be on a special mission to improve their ranking this year. The ambitious Czech squad participated in the 2011 edition of European League but could not manage to dig a spot in the top-three.

However, the team is once again ready to embark on adventure. This time Czech Republic will have the competitive edge of playing at home in the first round of the tournament.

The city of Brno in Czech Republic is scheduled to serve as a host to first week matches of Pool C, which will be composed of teams from Israel, Greece, the Netherlands, and hosts Czech Republic. The “Vodova” sports hall in Brno will set up the field of play for the thrilling encounters.
