German duos impress on first day of action in Hague – Volleyball news

On the opening day of the 2012 CEV Men’s Beach Volleyball European Championship Finals, German duos played a total of four matches and finished the day with 3-1 record.

Top-ranked duo of Brink-Reckermann, 14th-seeded Klemperer-Koreng, and No. 4 Erdmann-Matysik proved their endeavours and clinched success. However, the 15th-seeded paring of Kaczmarek and Walkenhorst dropped the decision after a tough competition. Hence, Germany three wins on day-1 of the tournament.
