Cracking action of the 2012 FIVB World League set to resume – Volleyball news



The men’s premier international volleyball competition, the 2012 FIVB World League, successfully completed its first leg from May 18-20. Next up, the action will resume on Friday, June 1 with Pool B matches.

Pool B of the 2012 FIVB World League is composed of teams from Canada, Brazil, Finland, and Poland. Canadian City Toronto hosted the first flight of matches at the Ricoh Coliseum, where all the matches saw huge turnout of fans.


Hosts Poland and Canada will open the tournament whereas Brazil and Finland will meet in the second match on the opening day. The first match will surely be a thriller as Polish team is enjoying a top form. The Poles defeated Canadian team in front of their supporters in Toronto in the first week, which will surely serve as a competitive edge for Poland. This time Poland will also have the advantage of playing under familiar conditions.
