Serbian women’s national
volleyball team rounded off the first-week matches of the 2012 CEV European
Volleyball League with 3-0 record on Sunday.
In the last match, Serbs took on
visiting team from Romania. Dudova Suma” sports hall in Subotica, Serbia
provided the backdrop for the match, while 2,900 spectators watched the live
action of volleyball. Using the competitive edge, Serbia posted a win at the
loss of only one set, 3-1 (27-25, 25-16, 22-25, 25-15).
Ana Bjelica of
Serbia was named the top scored of the match with 18 points while Daiana
Muresan and Denisa Rogojinaru registered 15 apiece for Romania.
