Denmark improves to 2-1 by edging out Greece in the third match – Volleyball news

Men’s national volleyball squad of Denmark provided a hard-knock to Greek counterparts in the third match of the 2012 CEV Men’s European League on Sunday.

The Spanish city Teruel set up the field of play for the thrilling match, which ended in only three sets. Denmark posted 3-0 (25-21, 28-26, 25-23) win over Greece and improved to 2-1 in the tournament.

Greece’s No. 4 player Georgios PETREAS staged an eye-catching action on the net and charted match-high 20 points but it proved to be a failing effort for him. On the other hand, Mads Hartmann DITLEVSEN of Denmark registered team-high 18 points and led his team to splendid straight-set victory.
