Men’s national volleyball team of USA worked
out a great performance in the first round of 2012 NORCECA Olympic
Qualification Tournament and qualified for the semi-finals.
USA played its last match of the pool-play
against Mexico and scored a splendid 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-14). Success in the
third match moved USA to an overall record of 3-0. The match took place at the
Walter Pyramid in Long Beach California on Wednesday.
The hosts finished the first round without
any loss and did not lose even a single set. The team is enjoying a top form
and is tipped to win the Olympic ticket.
