Jenny Kropp and Whitney Pavlik of USA-A put up a great
fight against Canada’s Jamie Broder and Kristina Valjas in the final match of Cayman
Islands Beach Volleyball Tournament on Sunday. However, the Canadians proved to
be the best and earned gold medal victory.
Broder/Valjas showed great tactics to overcome the
opponents and held them off for 2-0 (21-15, 21-13) victory.
Broder shared her thoughts after the match. She stated: “We
had to be patient playing outdoors for the first time of the year under windy
conditions and the heat. But we played good when it counted the most.”
