Following the drawing of lots at a local hotel in Cairo
Egypt, the Confederation African de Volleyball (CAVB) gave the green light to
girls’ qualifying tournament for the upcoming 2013 FIVB World Championship.
The Girls’ Youth African Championship started off on
Monday, March 25 with a total of four teams from Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, and Rwanda.
Egyptian Army Hall in Cairo, Egypt provided the ground for the action-packed
thriller.
The competition is scheduled to complete its run on
Wednesday and top 3 teams will get the chance to represent Africa at the World
Championship, which will be held in Thailand from July 26th to 4th
August.
