Andrei Voronkov becomes the new coach of men’s national volleyball team of Russia – Volleyball

Andrei Voronkov has signed a two-year contract with the Russian Volleyball Federation to head the men’s national volleyball team. He comes from the famous Russian club Novosibirsk Lokomotiv. He will also continue to work with his club.

The national volleyball squad was previously headed by Vladimir Alekno, who couldn’t continue his services on account of health issues. However, Alekno did a great job during his tenure and helped the team to achieve great many honors.
